    Free Notion Garden Template

Happy 2023! I started off the new year by organizing and prepping my Notion aka my life/home/garden organizer. This year, I decided to add a section to help plan my vegetable garden but really struggled with finding a template that worked for me. So I created my own. AND I’m sharing it with you just in case you’re looking for a starting point for your own Notion garden template. View and duplicate the less is Meera Garden Template here. My template has the following sections: And that’s it! Pretty simple and effective, right? Let me know if you use this template and if you’d like to see any more Notion…

Zero Waste Cleaning Products I Quit

Recently, I talked about my pared down cleaning supplies. And while some of the items on there are low waste, I’ve definitely introduced some “traditional” (aka non zero waste) products to the mix. Specifically, there are a few zero waste cleaning related products that I quit (I KNOW) but you gotta do what works best for your household! First up, we had the wooden toilet brush. RIP. I found most toilet brushes (wood or not) kind of gross and dreaded cleaning the toilet. Also, it was really slow to compost in my backyard pile. On top of that, I still needed some kind of toilet bowl cleaner to use with…

    A Minimal Cleaning Product List

While I adore #cleantok — it can really influence you to buy a billion products you don’t need. But I also did find some of my favorite cleaning products (I see you, Sprayway) and hacks (dish brush in the shower) on there, so… I’ll take the good with the bad. Truly though, you don’t need a lot to keep your home clean. Here are my go to products that I always have on hand. Liquid dish soap (Dawn is effective but use whatever you like) used with Oxo Soap Dispensing Brush (this one has worked well for me and I like the refill heads). Great for cleaning dishes (without nasty…

    The Current State… of Waste

It’s been a while! I, like so many others in the blogging space, have been at a loss for words in general… with all that’s been going on in the world over the past 3 years… and also just the general switch over to TikTok/short form videos for content. However, I’m still old school… I like writing down my thoughts on all the random things. I enjoy being able to go back to old writings to think about and laugh at. I’m definitely due to update the monster zero waste list, the Dallas-area resources list, and my do not buy list. I think with the past almost 3(!!!) years of…

    Mindful Christmas Decorating

I, like many others, have an addiction to watching those “holiday haul” videos on TikTok… you know, the ones where someone goes to Target and buys a bunch of beautiful Christmas decor. And as much as I would love to get the sweet sugarplum rush that comes from new wreaths and mini Christmas trees… I refrain. As you know, I love Christmas. And the decorating that goes along with it. My usual minimal tendencies become a bit more… maximal. But, as I’ve gotten older, my tastes have changed and I have less patience for cleaning glitter and flocking. I find myself drawn to more elevated styles and colors that will…
