Favorite Plastic-Free Cleaning Products

Last week, I talked about taking inventory of my current plastic use and what small changes I made. But this week, let’s talk about the plastic-free (or at least 95% plastic-free) cleaning products I already use and love.

1. Nellie’s Laundry Soda: Metal tin and powdered laundry soda. I’m also able to buy it locally at HEB.

2. Baking Soda: Good ole baking soda in the cardboard box. I generally use this to clean our drains (+ vinegar) and keep some in the fridge/freezer to soak up smells. Also provides good grit if I need to scrub something.

3. method All Purpose Cleaner Refill: A newer find I discussed last week. It’s unfortunately pricier than the regular refill (that I love) but it’s all glass and takes up very little space so I’ll stick with it for now!

4. Sprayway Glass Cleaner: I’ve used this to clean glass (and honestly, a bunch of other stuff like countertops, bathrooms, etc.) and it’s always a winner. Super inexpensive, easy to find anywhere, and housed in steel.

5. Resolve Pet Expert Spot Remover: We have dogs. Enough said. I love the Resolve products for any pet-related messes and especially like this metal canister version.

6. Grove Dish Soap Refill: Usually my go-to dish soap refill because I can find it easily at Target and the housing is all metal.
